Crossword Puzzle 1 Nothing Is Impossible

Ludwig Gutman was a German refugee who fled to England during the Second World War (1939-1945). He was also a doctor. He did not accept that wounded soldiers should lie in bed, get bed sores, start smelling and eventually rot and die a painful death. He got them out of their beds, into wheelchairs and throwing basketballs to each other. He knew it was wrong to leave these soldiers to rot to death. So he changed it. He founded the paralympics.
